My dear readers,

   Well it has to start somewhere, now doesn't it? Never before had I ever really even considered taking on a novel, until a few years back, when it was suggested that I do so by several of my close friends. Honestly? I've never thought of myself as a novelist. I write magazine articles, short stories, and such. At least, that's what I used to believe, but no longer. Writing this has not only been a magnificent adventure, but a wonderful learning experience for which I'm truly grateful.

    In the writing of America Falling, I wanted my readers to be able to open up, then virtually fall inside the book by becoming a player within the pages. While reading, you will feel the same moods the characters exhibit, identify with their passions, and experience their pain, their agony, and terror. I would like for you to come away with your pulse racing in anger, or maybe have to stop for a second to reach for a Kleenex.On more than one ocassion, I'll ask you to question your own character.More than anything else, I want for you to be able to live through the unimaginable, yet be able to walk away physically unscathed.

   By writing America Falling, I've managed to combine the everyday moments of life in our country with the most terrifying nightmare possible.
